Synthefiber™ NT excels in low to medium frequency acoustic absorption and greatly reduces road and other noise sources. This technology enables the absorption of sound sources in the 1000 Hz range, which has previously been difficult to absorb.
Features
High acoustic absorption
The two-layer laminate structure of fine and coarse fibers achieves superior acoustic performance in the 1000–2000 Hz range, a band that is difficult to absorb with single-layer materials.
Handling
Since both layers are soft and have good conformability, they can also be processed through molding.
Adjustable acoustic absorption rate
By changing the way the two layers are combined, you can adjust the peak absorption rate. In addition, the surface can even be applied to existing sound-absorbing materials to enhance their performance.

Achieving a quiet, comfortable
cabin
Using microfiber technology, it is now possible to absorb sound sources in the 1,000 Hz range, which has traditionally been difficult to absorb. It reduces engine noise and road noise, and makes the interior of the vehicle quieter.

The polyester material is lighter than conventional sound-absorbing materials, and contributes to weight reduction by replacing existing acoustic absorbers. It gives you more freedom to design your vehicle while maintaining high acoustic performance.
